The summer season is all set to get kick-started with one of the most anticipated movies of the year. From the ‘Marvel Comics’ world, comes a movie that is a curious combination of comic book-style action and the highly-charged atmosphere of a Nordic mythological epic. I am, of course, referring to Kenneth Branagh helmed Thor, a special-effects laden super-hero movie that has also got a strong storyline, and elements of real tenderness and romance to go along with it!
Watch Thor online to enter the world of the eponymous Norse God whose hammer can create a thundering sound and whose intensity is rivaled only by his skyrocketing pride. In order to teach Thor a lesson, Odin, the king of Asgard, expels him from the hallowed grounds.
The hero comes thundering down to a New Mexico desert, where his weapon of choice, Majolnir, doesn’t work. Thereafter, the life-lessons for Thor begin, which aren’t deprived of few sensitive romantic moments with Jane. There’s also a mysterious organization called SHIELD, led by Agent Coulson that goes after Thor for the purpose of conducting research. Meanwhile, the mischievous God, Loki, is threatening to take over the control of Asgard. The movie is a perfect entertainer that also builds up to next year’s blockbuster, The Avengers, in a surprising climax. Not to be missed!
